40K? I thought this was Mechwarrior

So, as I mentioned in my previous post, one of my projects is to put together a C:SM list that has 6 dreads in it.  Thus far, I have an idea of what I am going to use, but need to test it out.  Then I will start painting.  So, here is the list:

HQ
Master of the Forge- bolt pistol, power weapon, harness- 115pt.

Elite
Venerable Dread- lascannon, missile launcher- 205pt.

Landspeeder- multi-melta, heavy flamer-70pt.

Heavy
Ironclad Dread- DCCW/storm bolter, Seismic Hammer/melta- 135pt.
Ironclad Dread- DCCW/storm bolter, Seismic Hammer/melta- 135pt.
Ironclad Dread- DCCW/storm bolter, Seismic Hammer/melta- 135pt.

The hard things with a dread heavy list is that if you want 6 dreads, you need a Master of the Forge.  His cost added to that of 6 dreads is over half the army!  That leaves very little left to play around with.  Since points are at a premium, I have tried to put together a list that has a bit of everything to compete.  It has armored transports for two squads to zoom up and contest/control objectives.  It has scouts and landspeeders for turn 1/2 melta attempts.  I has a choppy squad that will be around to soak fire and eat combat units.  And it has dreads.  I have 3 shooty dread and 3 fighty dreads.  Hopefully this will strike enough of a balance to be a real problem to my opponents.

So, to the models themselves.

As you can see, this army is far from done.  I hope to get it finished after some play testing. I already have a cool theme in mind and I will be using a lot of white in my models.  I haven't decided if I am going to go pure white or a half and half color scheme with white and another color (probably red of blue),  There is one thing completely finished, the Masta':

Yeah, I am proud of this guy.  Originally meant to be my Black Templar Techmarine, this guy is going to be a MotF with a pistol and power weapon.  Since a lot of my models have some sort of BT iconography, I think I am going to go with the BT cross overlaid with the half white/half black Mechanicus theme.  This will feed into my chapter's fluff.

Basically, they are a chapter that believe that a warrior will face death and if he returns to the land of the living, then he is to be venerated and held in high esteem as he has seen the unthinkable on the other side of death's veil.  Thus, the chapter venerates and relies heavily on Dreadnoughts.  Any member of the chapter greviously wounded is left for a fortnight to either die or overcome death.  If the marine overcomes death, he is immediately entombed in a sarcophagus and inserted into a dreadnought's frame.  Due to this belief held by the people (and consequently the chapter) of Valhalla Prime, there are a large quantity of Dreadnoughts in the chapter.  They believe that this is the Emperor's way of blessing his warriors with knowledge of the afterlife and what comes when death claims another victim.  Thus, the Valhallan Immortals were born.  The marines protect and venerate their ancient, entombed brethren with matchless zeal. Consequently, the highest ranked members of the chapter are Mechanicus trained marines and many times the offices of Master of the Forge and Chapter Commander are held by the same figure.
