Props to GW....WHHAAT?!?

Working on this stormraven has shown me that GW's model production engine has become fairly fine tuned.  While their metal models may still have some gapping and what not, their new plastic kits are pretty slick.  I have notice a reduction in mold lines and rough areas and more often than not pieces fit very nicely, sometimes so tightly they can hold together with no glue (though I don't recommend leaving them this way).  It has been nice to work on these models.  I will post some updated assembly pics later this evening to show you what I mean.  Be prepared.

I haven't fiddled with a stormraven yet, but I certainly agree they've improved. Even years ago, after having fought with an old landspeeder and first-run Imperial Guard vehicles, doing kits like the Tau Devilfish and the plastic SM dread were like snap-kits by comparison.

I agree totally. This is obviously an overstatement, but in comparison, it has felt like the model has put itself together. It is sweet!
