Yeah. I'm not smart enough or bored enough to come up with a phrase that will turn into a neat acronym.
But I'm super stoked. I alluded to this yesterday. Several weeks back I got an email from Student Teacher, author of Three Color Minimum. Student Teacher won my very first Gone to Ground Giveaway and became the proud owner of Skeld the Lonewolf. Luckily, he is a die hard Space Wolf. The email basically told of his desire to give me some payback for sending him Skeld.
Enter Ork Week. This was a series of posts (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) that contained his efforts to pimp out a finecast Ork Warboss. If you take a look at the posts (which I highly recommend because there is some great hobby content in them) you will see the awesome work he did on this model.
ST's big idea was to send the Warboss to me for another Gone to Ground Giveaway. I, of course, was more than happy to accept. It's an amazing model and I love the attack squig. Thus, was born the Inaugural Gone to Ground Inter-blog Giveaway. *This is said with that voluminous echoing announcer tone you see on cheesy commercials.*
So, let's start with a picture of our Warboss complete and nasty looking.
You will notice that he has a little speech bubble next to his head. I smell a contest!!
To win this fine example of Orkish masculinity, you will need to complete two tasks. Simply become a follower of this blog AND post a comment on Three Color Minimum that says what this mean hombre is saying. Student Teacher has a post up about the contest as well, which can be found here: Three Color Minimum Contest Post. Post your comment there. You can be funny, serious, use ork dialect, or not. All entries must be in by this coming Friday, November 18th. The winner will be unbiasedly decided by Student Teacher and myself and then this hunk of green lovin' could come to stay in your home.
If you haven't figured out, this is my way of saying thank you to you the readers of this blog, and letting you know about another awesome blog over at Three Color Minimum. We really do have a great community of readers and bloggers and I love getting to spread the joy.
